Neil MacInnes
We were extremely
saddened to learn of the death of Neil MacInnes on
16th March 2009.
Neil was our
Competition Secretary and had an extensive knowledge
of all aspects of the club. He was willing to be
involved in organising all our events be it Stage
Rally, Road Rally or Autotest. Neil also competed
very successfully in Road Rallies alongside his son
Peter, and was a veteran of La Crofterra Pandemonia.
He was one of our
most dedicated and hard working committee members, a
much loved friend to many, and a respected member of
both the Highland Car Club Committee and the Snowman
Organising Team.
His knowledge,
advice and the way he carried out his duties with
quiet dignity will be greatly missed by us all. It
is also true to say that his passing will leave an
irreplaceable void in the organisational side of the
club.
Neil was a true
gentleman, and it was indeed a privilege to have
known him.
On behalf of the
committee of Highland Car Club and the Snowman Rally
Organising Team we would like to extend our deepest
condolences to Kathleen, Peter and Linda.
